Authenticated content spoofing via unneutralized web input
Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Microsoft SharePoint Server allows remote authenticated users to spoof content through crafted web input. Microsoft has not identified the affected SharePoint component or disclosed where web-page generation fails to neutralize attacker-controlled input. A low-privileged account and victim interaction are required; exploitation can expose or alter data in the victim's browser context without interrupting service.
