Root command execution via diagnostic input injection
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
OS command injection in GX Earth 1010 and 2022 firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute commands with root privileges. Multiple diagnostic functions in the web management interface fail to neutralize user-supplied input before operating-system command execution. A valid management login is required; affected builds are E1010-1.1ASL and E2022-1.1ASL, E2022-3.1.2A, and E2022-3.1.5AV, and successful exploitation compromises the appliance as root.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
