Authenticated database disclosure via subtitle identifier injection
Published Jun 11, 2026 · Updated Jun 11, 2026
Blind SQL injection in ClipBucket V5 before 5.5.3 - #132 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive database data. The update_subtitle method concatenates the POST number value into an UPDATE query's WHERE clause without sanitization, enabling boolean conditions to alter query behavior. A valid account with video-upload and subtitle-editing access is required; successful exploitation exposes the database and can yield administrator credentials.
