Authenticated cross-tenant access via host-unbound JWTs
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
Authorization bypass in Decidim before 0.31.5 and 0.32.0.rc1 allows remote authenticated users to access another tenant’s API. The API authentication strategies trust an API-user or organization-administrator JWT without binding its principal to the organization selected by the request host. A JWT issued through system-configured API credentials or an organization administrator account is required; participant JWTs do not expose the cross-tenant participantDetails data or proposal.answer path.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
