CVE-2026-45317Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Forced browser requests via unvalidated image URLs

Published May 15, 2026 · Updated May 15, 2026

CSRF in Open WebUI before 0.9.3 allows remote authenticated users to force victim browsers to request attacker-selected URLs. Image-rendering components place unvalidated profile, model, chat, and note image URLs into src attributes, causing viewers' browsers to issue GET requests. Exploitation requires a valid account and a victim to view the stored image; the request can disclose browser metadata, sign users out, or consume service resources.
