Unauthenticated token acceptance via missing identity claims
Published Jun 2, 2026 · Updated Jun 2, 2026
Improper authentication in CloudburstMC Protocol before 3.0.0.Beta12-20260420.182526-15 allows remote attackers to submit incomplete FULL tokens. EncryptionUtils validation returned FULL-token results without requiring the xid and xname identity fields. The path is exposed only through network-facing software that embeds the library; no existing privileges or user interaction are required, and no data disclosure or service interruption is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
