CVE-2026-45272Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Admin command execution via unescaped config key

Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026

Code injection in PoxenStudio MyBooks 3.41.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via crafted SOCIAL_AUTH keys. AdminSettings.post accepts key names containing quotes and newlines, and SettingsLoader.dumpfile inserts them unescaped into auto.py, which loadfile later imports as executable Python. Standalone exploitation requires administrator access and a service restart; injected code then runs with the application service account's privileges and can read data, modify files, persist, or interrupt service.
