Stored XSS via discarded html_purify output
Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026
Stored XSS in the Pages module in CI4MS before 0.31.9.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in visitors' browsers. Pages::create() and Pages::update() validate a local copy, then store raw language-keyed POST content; pages.php renders it without escaping. An account with pages.create or pages.update permission can plant the payload; a visitor must open the page, and an administrator's session can be hijacked.
