CVE-2026-45244Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Browser automation execution via unconfirmed agent tool calls

Published May 18, 2026 · Updated May 18, 2026

Missing authorization in Summarize before 0.15.1 allows remote attackers to run browser automation through crafted page content. The Chrome side-panel chat agent loop executes model-requested automation tool calls without first obtaining per-call confirmation. Exploitation requires enabled extension automation and user interaction with attacker-controlled content, after which navigation or debugger actions run in the browser context.
