Path traversal in steipete Summarize before 0.15.1 allows remote authenticated users to write and delete slide files via the daemon API. The /v1/summarize handler passes the request's slidesDir value to path.resolve with the user's home directory, preserving absolute paths and traversal sequences for slide output and cleanup. A valid daemon bearer token is required; writes are limited to generated slide_*.png and slides.json files in writable directories, while repeat extraction deletes matching files.
