Host memory access via untrusted firmware fault address
Published Jun 26, 2026 · Updated Jun 26, 2026
Improper privilege handling in Imagination Technologies Graphics DDK allows local users to read or write memory beyond host-kernel limits. The GPU firmware trusts the sFaultPhysAddr value passed to rgxfw_set_mips_fault_address and uses it for accesses with privileges unavailable to the host kernel. The path requires low-privilege kernel software inside a Host VM and affects 1.18 RTM, 23.2 RTM, 24.2 RTM, 25.1 RTM through 25.3 RTM, and 26.1 RTM.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
