Authenticated root command execution via injected DHCP hostname

Command injection in Deciso B.V. OPNsense core before 26.1.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root via DHCP settings. The interface_dhcp_configure function writes an unvalidated dhcphostname into dhclient..conf, where dhclient passes an injected media value to an eval statement in dhclient-script. Exploitation requires page-interfaces privileges, IPv4 DHCP on the configured interface, and applying changes or another DHCP request to trigger the script.
