Reflected XSS via unencoded backurl redirect
Published Mar 21, 2026 · Updated Mar 21, 2026
Reflected XSS in PbootCMS 3.2.0 through 3.2.12 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via the backurl login parameter. MemberController passes backurl to alert_location, which inserts it unencoded into a quoted location.href JavaScript string in core/function/helper.php. A victim must follow the crafted member-login URL; the injected script then runs in the PbootCMS origin and can read or alter browser-accessible data.
