Authenticated code execution via incomplete extension blacklist
Published Mar 21, 2026 · Updated Mar 21, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in PbootCMS 3.2.0 through 3.2.12 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through crafted filenames. The blacklist in core/function/file.php omits executable and configuration extensions such as .pht, .phar, .cgi, .htaccess, and .user.ini. A user with /member/upload access can place a crafted file in a web-accessible directory; code execution requires a server that interprets the chosen extension.
