CVE-2026-45081Network attack vector

Employee leave disclosure via missing record permission check

Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026

Incorrect authorization in Frappe HR before 16.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to read other employees' leave details. The whitelisted get_leave_metrics_and_details API accepted an employee identifier and returned leave allocation data without checking read permission on that Employee record. Any authenticated employee account could query another employee's data over the network; no modification or service interruption is reported.
