CVE-2026-45069Network attack vector

Authentication bypass via omitted mandatory JWT claims

Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026

Authentication bypass in Symfony Security HTTP allows remote attackers with a validly signed JWT to assume its encoded identity. OidcTokenHandler::verifyClaims() registers aud, iss, and exp checkers but omits the mandatory-claims list when calling ClaimCheckerManager::check(), which skips absent claims. Exploitation requires a signature from a trusted key, but omitted audience, issuer, and expiry constraints enable identity spoofing across security boundaries.
