Sensitive-data disclosure via unredacted file-write payloads
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Information disclosure in SafeDep Gryph before 0.7.0 allows local users to read sensitive file content from stored SQLite logs. At standard and full logging levels, the payload filter stores ContentPreview, OldString, or NewString fields for sensitive file-write events. Access requires the local SQLite database to be stolen or exported, exposing content that operators expected Gryph to omit.
