CVE-2026-45035Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote command execution via tabby URL handler

Published May 15, 2026 · Updated May 15, 2026

OS command injection in Eugeny Tabby before 1.0.233 allows remote attackers to execute commands through a crafted tabby:// link. The parseTabbyURL path accepts the run operation and attacker-controlled command data, and handleRunCommand passes the parsed array to terminal.openTab without confirmation or neutralization. A user must open the link and approve the browser dialog; the spawned process then runs with that user's privileges and can read, alter, or delete accessible data.
