Protected-setting modification via incomplete mutation guard

Missing authorization in OpenClaw before 2026.4.20 allows context-dependent attackers to alter protected gateway settings. The agent-facing gateway tool's config.patch and config.apply guard omits operator-trusted paths and permits in-place edits to per-agent overrides and array entries. Exploitation requires a prompt-injected model to have the owner-only gateway tool, after which it can persist changes to sandbox, authentication, TLS, plugin, hook, MCP, SSRF, and filesystem controls.
