CVE-2026-44992

API key disclosure via workspace host override

Published May 11, 2026 · Updated May 11, 2026

Environment injection in OpenClaw 2026.4.5 through 2026.4.19 allows local users to expose MiniMax API keys through a crafted workspace. The workspace dotenv loader fails to block MINIMAX_API_HOST, and MiniMax VLM routing uses the resulting host for requests bearing the key in Authorization. Exploitation requires a victim to run OpenClaw from an attacker-controlled workspace; the redirected request discloses the key but does not alter data or interrupt service.
