Authenticated account takeover via invitation-token chain

Improper authentication in Penpot before 2.14.5 allows remote authenticated users to take over any non-blocked profile. The invitation API discloses a minted token, prepare-register-profile embeds the profile selected by its supplied email, and register-profile creates that profile's session without checking its password. Any registered user can complete the chain without victim interaction under the documented default production configuration, gaining the victim's account access and privileges.
