Authenticated global onboarding reset via missing authorization
Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026
Missing authorization in Frappe Framework before 15.107.2 and 16.17.4 allows remote authenticated users to reset all users' onboarding. The reset-form-tours operation accepts any authenticated session and performs a system-wide reset without an authorization check. The maintainer has not disclosed the function or route; exploitation changes onboarding state for every user but does not expose data or interrupt service.
