Sensitive-data exposure in dbt MCP Server before 1.17.1 allows local users to read plaintext tool arguments from application logs. DbtMCP.call_tool() interpolates the raw arguments dictionary into INFO and ERROR messages, including sql_query, vars, and node_selection values. File persistence requires DBT_MCP_SERVER_FILE_LOGGING=true; filesystem access exposes queries or credentials without enabling data modification.
