Admission-control bypass via unfiltered namespace labels
Published Jul 7, 2026 · Updated Jul 7, 2026
Authorization bypass in Fleet for SUSE Rancher allows remote authenticated users to weaken Kubernetes namespace admission controls. The agent-side addLabelsFromOptions path applied namespaceLabels from fleet.yaml or BundleDeployment options without rejecting pod-security.kubernetes.io keys. Git push access to a monitored repository is required; successful abuse permits workloads that the cluster PSS policy would reject.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0.12.0 <0.12.15
