Authenticated command execution via PAPI CLI injection
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Command injection in the PAPI-accessed CLI service in HPE Aruba Networking AOS-8 and AOS-10 allows remote authenticated users to run OS commands. HPE identifies the PAPI-accessed CLI service but has not disclosed which request field reaches a command interpreter or how input validation fails. Administrative credentials and management-network access are required; successful exploitation grants command execution on the device operating system.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=10.4.0.0 <=10.4.1.10
- Affected versionversion=10.7.0.0 <=10.7.2.2
