Administrative code execution via crafted management requests
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflows in HPE Aruba Networking AOS-8 and AOS-10 allow remote authenticated users to execute elevated code. HPE has not disclosed which management-service routines mishandle crafted request data or the exact operation that overruns their stack buffers. Administrative access to the command-line interface is required, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary code with elevated privileges on the underlying operating system.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=10.4.0.0 <=10.4.1.10
- Affected versionversion=10.7.0.0 <=10.7.2.2
- Affected versionversion=10.8.0.0
