CVE-2026-44852Network attack vector

Privileged command execution via arbitrary file overwrite

Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026

Arbitrary file overwrite in HPE Aruba Networking AOS-8 and AOS-10 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as a privileged user. The certificate download function accepts an unvalidated file path and writes certificate data to an attacker-selected operating-system file. Administrative authentication to the web management interface is required, after which overwriting privileged files enables arbitrary command execution.
