Negative-total order creation via unchecked cart quantity
Published May 15, 2026 · Updated May 15, 2026
Improper quantity validation in givanz Vvveb before 1.0.8.2 allows remote attackers to create negative-total orders through the cart. The system/cart/cart.php add method accepts a negative quantity, propagates its sign through pricing and tax calculations, and persists the resulting negative grand total at checkout. Default guest carts require no authentication or special configuration, exposing merchant order and accounting data to unauthorized modification.
