Arbitrary file read via Git flag injection

Argument injection in the n8n Git node allows remote authenticated users with workflow-edit rights to read arbitrary server files. The Push operation passes workflow-controlled CLI flags to Git without neutralizing option delimiters, allowing injected flags to make Git consume a selected local file. Exploitation requires permission to create or modify workflows; the direct consequence is arbitrary file disclosure, while broader compromise depends on the exposed contents.
