Database disclosure and modification via comment-filter bypass
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
SQL injection in affected Pimcore releases allows remote authenticated users to read and alter database data through Custom Reports. The columnConfigAction path concatenates attacker-controlled Custom Reports SQL fields into a query, while its keyword denylist validates the commented text without first removing SQL comments. Exploitation requires reports_config access and an interactive authenticated session; successful requests expose error-based results and can read, update, insert, or delete database records.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
