Access token theft via WebView callback injection

Code injection in Home Assistant Companion for Android before 2026.4.4 and iOS before 2026.4.1 allows remote attackers to steal access tokens. The native bridges expose authentication handlers to cross-origin frames, then interpolate an unvalidated callback into JavaScript evaluated in the trusted main-frame origin. Exploitation requires a signed-in user to open a dashboard containing an attacker-controlled Webpage iframe; the stolen bearer token grants that user's REST API access, and the bridge can also revoke the session and force re-onboarding.
