Authenticated command execution via unsanitized interface fields
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Command injection in COMFAST CF-AC100 2.6.0.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute device commands through its web interface. The webmggnt component's sub_41F1C8 handler passes the unvalidated interface and display_name fields through sprintf into a string executed by system. Administrative login and a valid COMFAST_SESSIONID cookie are required, after which injected shell syntax runs commands with the device process's privileges.
