Authenticated command execution via unvalidated MAC field
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Command injection in COMFAST CF-AC100 2.6.0.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through an HTTP request. The webmggnt sub_41781C routine passes an unvalidated mac field through sprintf into a command string and invokes system. Administrative access and a valid session cookie are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied commands on the gateway.
