Stored XSS via unescaped attachment filenames

Stored cross-site scripting in FACTION before 1.8.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via attachment filenames. RemVulnData and verification preview templates concatenate persisted filenames into JSON, HTML attributes, and fileinput configuration while disabling HTML escaping. An account with remediation privileges must upload the filename, and another user must open the affected view; execution then permits same-origin actions and data access under the victim's session.
