Authenticated command execution via unsanitized timestr parameter
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Command injection in COMFAST CF-AC100 2.6.0.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted timestr value. In webmggnt's sub_41DBC0 routine, the timestr field is passed without validation to sprintf for command construction and then to system for execution. A valid management session cookie and high privileges are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-selected shell commands on the gateway.
