Internal service access via unrestricted CORS proxy
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
SSRF in SillyTavern before 1.18.0 allows remote attackers to read responses from internal services via the optional CORS proxy. The corsProxyMiddleware passes the user-controlled req.params.url value directly to fetch without an allowlist or private-address restriction. Exploitation requires network access to the optional proxy endpoint and server connectivity to the targeted internal service or metadata endpoint.
