Cross-site scripting via newline-bearing HTML tags

Cross-site scripting in LiquidJS before 10.26.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser via crafted HTML. The strip_html filter's catch-all regular expression uses a dot that excludes line terminators, leaving newline-bearing tags unchanged in rendered output. Exploitation requires attacker-controlled input to pass through strip_html without separate HTML escaping and a user to render the resulting page.
