Unauthenticated RPC crash via unchecked Thrift length

Resource exhaustion in Apache IoTDB before 1.3.8 and 2.0.0 through 2.0.9 allows remote attackers to crash the RPC service. The RPC service trusts a string length declared in a malformed Thrift frame and allocates that attacker-controlled size without an adequate bound, exhausting heap memory and raising an OutOfMemoryError. No authentication or user interaction is required; the documented consequence is an availability-only service crash, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
