Authenticated blind SSRF via unvalidated feed URL
Published May 14, 2026 · Updated May 14, 2026
SSRF in Nextcloud News before 28.3.0-beta.1 allows remote authenticated users to probe internal services through crafted feed URLs. The web and API feed-creation path accepts a user-supplied URL and makes an outbound request without blocking private IP ranges or localhost. Any authenticated account that can add a feed can infer internal-service reachability and behavior from timing and application behavior, but the response body is not returned.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
