State disclosure and injection via unchecked thread ID
Published May 14, 2026 · Updated May 14, 2026
Improper authorization in Aegra before 0.9.7 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter another tenant's thread state. The three thread-scoped run creation endpoints pass a caller-supplied thread_id to _prepare_run without filtering the thread by the authenticated identity, while an absent custom policy handler defaults to allow. Exploitation requires a shared multi-user instance and another tenant's leaked UUID, and it exposes checkpoint output and persists attacker-supplied conversation messages.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
