Token disclosure via unredacted follow-up commands
Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026
Sensitive-data exposure in Vercel CLI 50.16.0 through 52.0.0 allows attackers to obtain plaintext tokens from automation output. The non-interactive command-suggestion path serializes the original --token or -t argument verbatim into JSON follow-up commands instead of redacting it. Exposure requires command-line token authentication, non-interactive mode, and a command that cannot complete; attackers must also access the resulting logs or transcripts, while successful commands and VERCEL_TOKEN are unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
