Unauthorized record modification via unchecked endpoints
Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026
Missing authorization in ERPNext before 15.102.0 and before 16.11.0 allows remote authenticated users to modify restricted records. Certain request endpoints apply document changes without verifying that the requesting user's role permits those modifications. Frappe has not identified the affected endpoints or fields; exploitation requires an account and alters business data outside its assigned role.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
