CVE-2026-44437Network attack vector

Open redirect and request steering via encoded prefix

Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026

Path traversal in Angular SSR before 19.2.25, 20.3.25, 21.2.9, and 22.0.0-next.7 allows remote attackers to steer requests or redirects. X-Forwarded-Prefix validation fails to account for percent-encoded dot segments, so later decoding turns %2e%2e into traversal that influences redirect and request paths. Exploitation requires trusted, unsanitized proxy headers and an application that performs internal redirects or relative server-side HttpClient requests.
