Sandboxed code execution via WebAudio heap overflow
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Heap buffer overflow in WebAudio in Google Chrome before 146.0.7680.153 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted HTML. Google identifies the locus as WebAudio but has not disclosed the malformed input or incorrect buffer operation that overruns heap memory. A user must load the crafted page; successful exploitation executes attacker-controlled code inside the Chrome sandbox, with no published sandbox escape.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
