CVE-2026-44417Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via untrusted JMS configuration

Published May 22, 2026 · Updated May 22, 2026

Improper input validation in Apache CXF JMS transport allows remote authenticated users to execute code through untrusted configuration. Apache has not published which alternate code path accepts or resolves the attacker-controlled JMS configuration. Remote authenticated users must be permitted to configure JMS; successful exploitation runs attacker-selected code in the hosting application.
