CVE-2026-44383Network attack vector

Service interruption via duplicate OCPP station sessions

Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026

Insufficient session expiration in Hydro-Québec's charging station backend before June 2026 allows remote attackers to interrupt service. The backend permits simultaneous OCPP client connections presenting the same charging station ID instead of expiring or replacing the existing session. No privileges or user interaction are required; attackers can multiply malicious clients until connection handling overwhelms the backend, without reported data exposure or modification.
