Authenticated SQL injection via unvalidated ordering fields
Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026
SQL injection in MISP before 2.5.37 allows remote authenticated users to extract arbitrary database content through listing requests. POST /events/index and GET /shadow_attributes/index pass user-controlled order or sort fields into SQL ORDER BY clauses without schema validation. Any authenticated account, including a read-only user, can perform blind injection and read database content.
