CVE-2026-44363

Internal access and response tampering via unsafe fetches

Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026

SSRF and improper certificate validation in MISP modules before 3.0.7 allow attackers to access internal resources or tamper with responses. The html_to_markdown module fetched arbitrary HTTP(S) URLs without rejecting loopback, private, or link-local destinations, while qrcode passed remote-image requests with TLS certificate verification disabled. Exploitation requires a caller able to invoke an affected expansion module with an attacker-controlled URL; the resulting access is limited to what the service host can reach or accept from a network intermediary.
