Host service disclosure via ostunnel GatewayPorts
Published Mar 24, 2026 · Updated Mar 24, 2026
SSH misconfiguration in Tenable OT Platform 3.18.58 through 4.2.40 allows remote authenticated users to read host service data. The ostunnel user's SSH configuration enables GatewayPorts, exposing socket, port, and service details through forwarded listening endpoints. Access to the ostunnel account is required, and the disclosed network metadata can aid subsequent attempts to compromise the host.
