Authenticated service degradation via missing subscription dereference
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
NULL pointer dereference in free5GC before 4.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to degrade UDR service via crafted DELETE requests. The RemoveAmfSubscriptionsInfoProcedure miss path sets a 404 problem detail but continues and dereferences the absent EeSubscriptionCollection entry. A valid nudr-dr OAuth2 token and prior EE-subscription create are required; Gin recovers each panic, limiting impact to repeatable per-request degradation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
